The Carlton Financial Group, the independent corporate advisory and investment management firm, is delighted to announce the appointment of Sir Francis Mackay as non-executive Vice Chairman.

As a distinguished international business leader, Sir Francis brings considerable experience to Carlton’s board and augments the firm’s senior team. He joins founders Andrew Taee (Chairman) and George Magan (Deputy Chairman) alongside non-executive Vice Chairmen Alan Wheatley and Ian Reeves.

Founded in 2004, Carlton Financial Group has two divisions: Carlton Corporate Finance and Carlton Capital Partners. The Group was established to provide clients with an independent advisory service while avoiding the potential conflicts of broking, lending and trading activities.

Carlton Corporate Finance most recently acted for Rentokil Initial plc in their proposed £80m acquisition of J.C. Ehrlich Co. Inc, a leading US pest control company.

Carlton Capital Partners launched its first fund, “Ribot”, at the end of 2005 and is rapidly building its assets under management. It has, amongst others, taken on significant institutional mandates from European investors.
