Ben Blackett-Ord has over 15 years financial services regulatory experience, and founded Bovilll Consulting in 1999. In 1988, Ben joined the surveillance division of the Securities and Futures Authority. He was subsequently appointed team manager and remained with the SFA until 1993. After leaving the SFA he spent 18 months with IBJ International before being appointed Head of Compliance at Standard Bank London.

Ben has a thorough knowledge of UK financial services regulation and is regularly invited to speak on financial services issues at conferences throughout the UK. He is highly respected in the industry for his thorough and client-friendly approach. He writes regularly on regulatory and compliance issues. Ben is a qualified barrister.
